HPΩΔOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ (of King Herod); tripod, bowl above and flanked by date. Hendin 1169; TJC 44; Pictured in "Menorah Coin Project" web database Her-01 DO20. Dark green patina with earthern contrast. Well struck on a nice broad flan with excellent detail throughout. Certainly among the finest examples we have handled. Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $500 - UP
