Athens. Silver Tetradrachm, 440-404 BC (17.22 g). Head of Athena to right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and a palmette, a circular earring and a pearl necklace. Reverse: AΘE, Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; all within incuse square. Cf. Svoronos pl. 14, 15. Struck on an oblong flan. Bright and lustrous.
