Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 122

Lot 921

1877. PCGS graded MS-65. Nicely toned on both sides with complex yet perfectly blended shades of teal, rose, gold and lemon, toning which accents the devices and enhances every part of the coin. The strike is sharper than average with just a touch of softness on Liberty's head. Rarely encountered this well preserved, as most of these ended up doing service in the Orient and circulated hard for many years, hence this fantastic gem should please any specialist. Pop 14; 3 finer, 1 in 65+, 1 in 66, 1 in 66+. (PCGS # 7044) Estimated Value $6,500 - 7,000
*This coin contains the COIN WORLD PLUS sticker.
