1871. NGC graded Proof 66. Lovely golden toning on both sides, with glorious shades of blue and teal around the rims, lighter silver fields and center on the obverse, the reverse with richer toning of royal blue at the rims, glorious orange russet in the fields and matching antique hues over the mirror and frosted surfaces. Despite a decent number struck (for the time), this remains a sought-after issue with the Motto above the eagle, and in such stellar preservation represents a true rarity at this lofty grade level.
