1856-O. NGC graded MS-65. Lovely toning on both sides which is mostly pale lilac gold with some russet and yellow tinges. The strike is decent for this desirable New Orleans issue, with just a touch of softness on the uppermost devices. Glowing mint luster in the fields confirms the quality, and this one is free of all but the most minute signs of handling. Pop 17; 3 finer in 66. Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,200
