1873-CC. Arrows. NGC graded AU-55. Even silver and gold toning on both sides. The strike is sharp and the surfaces are wonderfully clean. Just a touch of wear on the high points from mint condition, and this prized date is seldom found at all, and here is a coin that nudges mint state! Furthermore there is is only one example graded higher at NGC, and this is the finest circulated example they have graded. It is estimated that only 50 examples survived in all grades from ths meager issue. The Carson City Mint is well known from producing many of today's great numismatic rarities, with low mintages and even lower survival rates. Here is one such coin, the key date 1873-CC Arrows quarter! Don't miss out if you are seeking a lovely, high grade example of this coveted rarity. A very rare date. Only 12,462 struck. Pop 1; only 1 example graded finer in 65 at NGC. Estimated Value $35,000 - UP

Realized $55,200
