1858. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. Lovely gold and blue toning on both sides, the obverse has an arc of rich teal and flashy silver on the right side, the balance is a sunset gold with russet tints on the left, for the reverse the colors are all present too with the blue mostly at the rims with the fiery irridesence in the fields and surrounding the eagle. The eye appeal is outstanding here! Only 300 struck. making this a tough, low mintage early proof issue. Pop 4; only 1 example graded finer in 66+ for Proof Cameo at NGC. Estimated Value $7,000 - UP
