1838. NGC graded MS-65. A frosty white gem with just a whisper of light gold toning. The strike is bold throughout, on Liberty's upper hair curls and on all her dress lines. The reverse is bold as well. First year of the Gobrecht style used through 1891 on quarters. No drapery from elbow type. Pop 5; 4 finer, 2 in 66, 1 in 66+, 1 in 67. Estimated Value $17,000 - 18,000
