1831. Small Letters. Browning 1, Rarity 2. PCGS graded MS-66. Boldly struck with lovely gold and russet toning on both sides. The strike is nearly perfect, with fully defined stars surrounding Liberty and fully rounded curls down her back. Matching the strength of strike on the reverse, the eagle is bold too. What really sets this coin apart is the amazing quality of the surfaces. Only one other coin of this date is graded this high by PCGS, there are none finer. Hence, this coin has claims to be the finest known example of this date. An important offering for the specialist.
