1856. Small date. PCGS graded Proof 65. Well struck with lovely toning on both sides from long and careful storage. The strike is precise and full, as expected for a Proof. These were issued in small numbers, and hence some care was executed in their striking. This one has been carefully preserved since the day it was struck, hence is still retains the gem grade.
