Lot 660

1829. Small 10¢. JR-7, Rarity 1. PCGS graded MS-65. Lovely blue and gold toning which is somewhat thick and spans the entire coin. Frosty luster beneath, which shows when examined under a light. Fully struck by the dies, with each star showing full radial lines, as well as rounded high points on Liberty's curls. The surfaces are handsome, as one expects for the lofty gem grade, and this is one of the finer examples known of this date and clearly for the variety too. Pop 1; only 1 example graded finer in 67 at PCGS for the variety. (PCGS # 38832) Estimated Value $3,500 - 3,600
