1800. NGC graded AU-55. Toned with a blush of delicate gold which deepens slightly around the rims. This is a very tough coin to find in high grades (or any grade for that matter!) as the original mintage was modest and survivors are downright scarce. This lovely 1800 dime offers nice surfaces, a solid strike with all of Liberty's hair strands nicely formed and intact, as well as the reverse details on the eagle. A prize that is destined for an advanced early dime collection. Mostly untoned. Just a hint of reverse light tone. Only 21,760 struck. Pop 7; 9 finer at NGC. Estimated Value $7,500 - 8,000
