Judea. Herodian Dynasty. Herod Philip, ca. 4 BCE to 34 CE. AE 25 mm (10.0 g). Struck Year 34, 30/1 CE. (of the Augusti), jugate heads of Tiberius and Livia to right. Reverse: in the time of Herod the Tetrarch, the Augusteum of Paneas on high platform with round design in center. Star countermark on obverse, X countermark on reverse. Hendin 1229a; TJC 100a. Mottled reddish and brown patina. Fine plus and rare. Estimated Value $400 - UP
