1865. NGC graded MS-63. CAC. PQ. Blazing mint luster throughout and a glorious example of this late Civil War issue. The surfaces are clean and bright, with minimal signs of bag handling to distract the eye. Liberty's cheek and neck are quite clean, and the surrounding fields are also quite nice. Close examination will find traces of the date in the dentils along the rim, where the date was punched in lightly quite low, then corrected. An especially nice example of this date and mint.
