1840 N-9 R3 Large Date VF30. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints of the devices. Smooth and attractive, just lightly worn. The only notable mark is a dull rim nick over the 0 in the date. M-LDS, die state e, with a strong bisecting die crack across the obverse, strongest near star 11. Comes with a nice provenance. Estimated Value $100 - UP
