Supreme Court Justices of the 20th Century: Four Signed Pieces with 18 Signatures Each Including the All Justices of the Burger Court. Unusual collection of signed pieces by Supreme Court Justices of the 20th Century 1.) Smithsonian Magazine, the January 1977 edition, featured a phenomenal image of the Burger Court on its outer cover. all leaning/sitting on the East Conference Room table. All members have signed their names along the bottom with Thurgood Marshall singing vertically parallel with spine. All are legitimate autographs signed in blue or black pens and are very clean and legible. However, given the dark marble floor the signatures have poor contrast for distant viewing. The full Burger Court signatures here are Stevens, Powell, Blackmun, Rehnquist, Marshall, Brennan, Burger, Stewart and White. 2.) A typed copy of Article III Sect.1 signed by Thurgood Marshall and Byron White. 3) First Day Cover of the Sesquicentennial of the Federal Government signed by Earl Warren, Potter Steward and Abe Fortas. 4.) A second Sesquicentennial cover signed by Stanley Reed, Abe Fortas, Arthur J. Goldberg, William O. Douglas and one unidentified. The Smithsonian cover shows minor evidence of wear along fold otherwise all the other pieces are in excellent condition. Estimated Value $800 - UP
