Ancient Judaea, ca. 1700 BC Bronze Age Terracotta Jug, Signed "Sharon. B.C., 1700, M. Dayan". Written At Base by Moshe Dayan. Ancient Judaean (ca. 1700) Bronze Age, single handle terracotta jug, 7 x 3" on stand. Jug is intact with some areas of expert restoration. Note: Defense Minister, Moshe Dayan (1915-1981), who became a worldwide fighting symbol of the new state of Israel during the Six-Day War has signed in his hand "Sharon. B.C. 1700, M. Dayan." This jug is from his personal collection auctioned years past. Estimated Value $300 - UP
