Lot includes: Prime Ministers; William Wyndham Grenville, Letter signed, 9/22/1800 regarding a request by Sir John Sinclair Bart regarding his request to give the Emperor of Russia a horse. Also free franks by William Pitt the Younger, Henry Addington, Lord Sidmouth, Spencer Percival, and Robert Banks Jenkinson. Foreign Secretaries includes free franks by George Canning and Charles Grey (both future Prime Ministers), Dudley Ryder, Henry Phipps, Charles James Fox and Richard Wellesley. Also, an ALS by Secretary of War Henry Dundas; an 1804 ALS by Secretary of War & The Colonies Robert Hobart; an 1826 ALS by The Earl of Camden, John Jeffreys Pratt, who was Secretary of War & The Colonies; and an 1814 ALS by Robert Stewart British Secretary of War.
