STS-5, STS-6, STS-7, STS-8, STS-9; Ten Multi-Signed Covers and Photos. Incl. Sally Ride, 1st Woman in Space, 2 of Moonwalker, J. Young. Total of ten multi-signed pieces that includes Crew signed cover and photo by Joe Allen, Vance Brand, Bob Overymeyer, and W.B. Lenoir with Allen responding to a young fan on the back that he is not allowed to fly with personal items save for "a lucky pair of socks". STS-6, maiden flight of Challenger, one crew signed photo and two covers (one without Weitz). STS-7 Great crew signed portrait photo which includes a beaming Sally K. Ride as well as a crew signed commemorative STS-7 cover, the first Shuttle flight with 7 passengers. STS-8, one crew signed commemorative cover, the flight distinguished for being the first night launch and night landing as well as having the first African-American astronaut, Guion Bluford, in space. Two crew signed covers from STS-9 found veteran astronaut and Moonwalker, John Young on his 6th and final space mission and Owen Garriott on his second and final flight.
