STS-1, STS-2, STS-3, STS-4, All Shuttle Columbia, Two Member Crews, Eight Multi-Signed Photos and Covers. April 12, 1981 marked the first Shuttle mission into space crewed by the 9th man to walk on the moon, John Young and test pilot Bob Crippen aboard Shuttle Columbia (OV-102) designated STS-1. Both have signed an 8 x 10" still of both in their orange flight suits, inscribed to "Albert Wittnebut with Best Wishes". Also is a signed STS-1 cover by the Launch Support Crew, Mike Smith and Ellison Onizuka, both of whom perished in the Challenger disaster. From STS-2 Joe Engle and Richard Truly have signed their official portrait in their flight suits as well as an STS-2 commemorative cover. STS-3 crew signed photo by Jack Sousma and Gordon Fullerton as both signing two STS-3 commemorative covers. STS-4 crew, Command Module pilot for Apollo 16, Ken Mattingly and Hank Hartsfield have signed a commemorative STS-4. All in excellent condition with STS-1 signed pieces highly desirable.
