[King George III] Collection of Autographed Letters Signed and Free Franks by His Sons and Daughters, 15 Pieces Total. Fine collection of 15 signed pieces by the children of King George III. Included are: Note signed by Elizabeth, Landgravina of Hesse-Homberg. Three pieces by Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh: an ALS a clipped signature and a note with her name and faint seal. Note signed (remarkably tiny handwriting) by Sophia, Princess of the United Kingdom, and a note signed Augusta Sophia, Princess of England.
The sons include free franks by the Duke of York, Frederick (plus a clipped valediction), Duke of Clarence, William, Duke of Kent, Edward Augustus, Duke of Cambridge, Adolphus and finally two free franks (one with wax seal), a four page autographed letter signed and an elegant document signed by Duke of Cumberland, King of Hanover, Ernst Augustus.
