During the Peninsular Campaign, to Sir Charles Stuart, minister/spy for England to the court of Portugal between 1809 and 1815, regarding the difficulties of punishing British soldiers accused of offences againces the laws of Portugal. With Prussian Field Marshal Gebhard von Blùcher, DS as General of the Cavalry, 1p, 12x 7¾", Breslau, Mar. 31, 1812, authorizing a daily Ration of oats, hay and straw for the Cavalry.
