Neil Armstrong and Janet Armstrong Signed Affidavit and Photo. Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), naval aviator, test pilot, university professor and the first man to walk the moon on July 21st, 1969. Offered is a signature of Armstrong as "N. A. Armstrong" clipped from a tax related affidavit and co-signed underneath by his first wife Janet, who later divorced in 1994 after 38 years of marriage.
