60+ Scarce Covers Relating to All Apollo Missions Signed by Many of the Great Men & Women Behind The Scenes. Fine collection of very scarce covers, many First Day Issues, spanning 6 years and signed by many of the men who worked behind the scenes in every capacity, contributing greatly to the success of the Apollo program. No astronauts in this collection but a great number of notables to those with even a passing interest in NASA history. Superb signed cover by legendary Flight Director Eugene "Gene" Kranz (superbly played by Ed Harris in the film Apollo 13) and know his is an autograph we don't often get. Also included are other directors of various departments including astronaut flight crews, tracking and recovery heads, research heads and many more. Includes a cover signed by John Llewellyn, a pioneer in underwater archeology who was selected as a scientist-astronaut by NASA in August 1967 but after a year dropped out.
