Apollo Era Artifacts with One Flown on ASTP: Beta Cloth, Kapton Foil. Three nicely presented Apollo era artifacts all mounted on informative LOas. 1.) Flown segment of Kapton foil removed from heat shield of the ASTP Command Module #111 which flew 136 orbits around the Earth from July 15-24, the historic high point of course being the docking with the Soviet Union Soyuz spacecraft, authenticated by Ken Havekotte. Also included are two First Day covers, one Russian the other American each postmarked July 15, 1975 as well as each country's insignia stickers. 2.) Several samples of Apollo Lunar Module Kapton Thermal Blanket affixed to a very informative LOA which explains its use on the Lunar Module which provided protection from the extremes in heat and cold during the descent and ascent, authenticated by Ken Havekotte. 3.) Apollo Beta Cloth sample with image of space suit and label explaining its development and use. All items in excellent condition and very appealing. Estimated Value $600 - UP
