Meissen Porcelain: "Couple Courting with Doggies Approval" Late 19th Early 20th Century. Exceptional, finely modeled Meissen porcelain figure of a couple courting, he a soldier leaning in, her enjoying the flowers given with a fine assist by the dog. Couple is standing on a naturalistic base and boasting incredible detail throughout. Meissen mark of underglaze blue crossed swords mark with pommels, and incised is the number 38 and the number 5 hand executed in red underglazed as well. We note no issues on this extremely appealing piece by Meissen. 6 x 4 x 3¾". Estimated Value $400 - UP
