Vintage 14K Yellow Gold and Persian Turquoise Prayer Box with Printed Prayer Book Inside. Vintage 14K yellow gold, book shaped, prayer box that holds a miniature Koran inside (included) the obverse having open scroll work with the Arabic word for "Allah", the red foil cover of the Koran showing through which adds appealing color. The verso has the crescent and star symbol accented with lovely Persian turquoise. 1½ x 1 x ½" and weighing 16 grams. Excellent condition, the miniature prayer book is a bit worn, but fine. Box opens by sliding bottom panel. Estimated Value $800 - UP
