Coca-Cola 1942 Cardboard Advertisement "The Drink They All Expect". Vintage original cardboard advertisement of wholesome young adult couple at a party, each about to enjoy an ice cold bottle of Coca-Cola. This very appealing sign was printed by McCandlish in Philadelphia in 1942 and the artwork could not be any more of the period. Examined in frame, the sign has outstanding colors throughout. We note only four mounting holes in all four corners, scattered scratches, minor spotting and some creasing near the outer right edges. Those minor issues aside, this piece displays beautifully, 26 x 15½" and is framed to 28½ x 17½". Estimated Value $200 - UP
From The Private Collection of James Harrison Ring.
