Coca-Cola: Scarce 1927 "Girl With Bouquet of Flowers" Dealer's Calendar, Excellent Condition. The first known Coca-Cola calendar was issued by the company in 1891, but by the first decade of the 20th Century the company copyrighted stunning images of popular, beautiful models and entertainers and enlisted some of the finest stone lithography printers in the nation. Antique calendars are some of the most prized treasures by collectors due to how rare most are and certainly how beautiful. With the 1927 calendar, Coca-Cola provided an area (referred to as the "privilege panel") for stores to be able to print their names and location. An excellent example is offered here for a Riker's Drug Store in Lewiston, ME. We note only age toning and one small smudge between the numbers of 27 and 28 on the full calendar pad, otherwise excellent. This piece would prove a fine addition to any collection. Calendar is shrink wrapped on foam core and ready for framing. 13 x 7". Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
From The Private Collection of James Harrison Ring.
