Coca-Cola: Antique Flat Mount Metal Sign "Elaine" ca. 1916 in Fine Condition. Antique and vintage tin Coca-Cola signs are prized by collectors because they have been seen by generations while traveling across America. From 1916, a rare, flat-mount metal sign manufactured by Stelad Signs, Passaic Metal Ware Co., with the image "Elaine Holding Glass" in quite fine condition. This self-framed sign was meant to promote fountain sales of Coca-Cola and clearly this sign was well kept for 100+ years. We note two rubs on her forearm and elbow, the most minimum of scratches, and what appears to be an area of light spotting of Coca-Cola syrup, which is barely visible even up close. Otherwise this is a wonderful piece and would prove a significant addition to any collection. 30 x 20". Estimated Value $2,000 - UP
