Coca-Cola Rare 1906 "Juanita" Calendar, Outstanding Condition. The first known Coca-Cola calendar was issued by the company in 1891, but by the first decade of the 20th Century the company copyrighted stunning images of popular, beautiful models and entertainers and enlisted some of the finest stone lithography printers in the nation. Antique calendars are some of the most prized treasures by collectors due to how rare most are and certainly how beautiful. And certainly this 1906 calendar is a perfect example. Image copyrighted in 1905 by Wolf & Co. which graced the sheet music of a popular song, "Juanita". Calendar has embossed as part of the printing a frame around the lithographic image which gives the calendar a remarkable appearance. This piece is in excellent condition, boasting vivid colors and with only minor issues. We note one scratch snaking through the word "Refreshing" and only one calendar page remaining from the month of October. 14¼ x 7¾" and beautifully framed in gilt wood to 19½ x 12". Estimated Value $1,200 - UP
From The Private Collection of James Harrison Ring. Schmidt Museum of Coca-Cola Memorabilia.
