Coca-Cola: Rare "Hilda with Roses" Large Round Antique Serving Tray Issued 1901. From the first decade of the 20th Century, 14 Coca-Cola serving trays have been identified. Certainly one of the most scarce (featuring actress and model, Hilda Clark who was the face of Coca-Cola from 1895-1903) is the the 9¾" "Hilda with Roses" manufactured by Meech & Beech Company. Tray is notable for its cola beans, flowers and branches surrounding the perimeter and the first serving tray to a show a price for a Coca-Cola. Within the image, written on a note as if a greeting, the Coca-Cola home office being located in Atlanta, Ga. with branches in Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Dallas. In good condition tray has nicks, scratches, some staining and chips. Nevertheless a difficult tray to find and highly prized by collectors. Estimated Value $750 - UP
