Oliver, Myron. "Padre". (1891-1967) American artist born in Kansas but lived in Monterey, California most of his life, known for landscapes and street scenes. We are pleased to offer this charming watercolor of a padre in front of a beautiful stucco church with the Pacific beckoning in the background. Boasting beautiful colors, this is only our second watercolor to auction from this artist. Piece measures 7½ x 9½", framed within the last three years in Monterrey to 14½ x 16". Signed by Oliver in pencil at lower right side. Estimated Value $400 - UP
