MAD Magazine: Full Suite of 5 Original Illustrated Panels: "The Lighter Side of Corruption" by 50 Year Veteran of MAD, Dave Berg, 1973 (1920-2002) Beloved American illustrator and cartoonist known for his celebrated career at MAD magazine after contributing to several comic books in the 1940s including two years with Stan Lee at Timely Comics (now known as Marvel Comics.) Berg contributed to Mad for 46 years beginning in 1957 until his death, appearing in 368 issues. Each panel is 24½ x 18½", with three panels each having three strips and two having two strips. A hilariously dark look at dishonest people and the little lies and tricks some people engage to make a buck. From cheating on taxes, petty theft, requesting payment in cash to avoid a paper trail, false injuries, even corruption in DC. All in excellent condition, signed Berg, 1973 1-5 of 5.
