20 Colorful Original Costume Sketches by Pete Menefee for Variety Specials The Miss America Pageant and Other Television Events. Pete Menefee (1942 -) has been nominated for 5 Emmys for costume design and won three. His IMDB page is extensive with over 30 years of work listed in film and television and it is a very long list. He has designed costumes for entertainers as diverse as the band KISS, to Cher, to the entire roster at Motown to fashion icon and legend Audrey Hepburn. There are ten (10) costume sketches pertaining to concepts for the 1993 Miss America Pageant where he successfully took the pageant from stiff and blown-out to more fun, playful and naturally appealing. Also included are ten (10) sketches from numerous other television events many requiring numerous costumes for extras including the Liberty Weekend Closing Ceremonies.
