Stafford, New Haven, Connecticut, circa. 1860's. Total quantity estimated 2,100. SN# 1561. 3.5".22 caliber rim-fire octagon barrel marked "T.J. STAFFORD, NEW HAVEN, CT. and, tips downward to load. Engraved silver plated brass frame (0% silver plating remains). Spur trigger and square butt marked "PATENTED MARCH 19, 1860". Mother of Pearl grip-scales have a few small edge chips but are in good shape. The action is in good mechanical working order. The overall condition is very good-fine. Estimated Value $600 - UP
