(1930-2017) Colin Dexter is one of Britain's most celebrated crime novelist whose "Inspector Morse" series earned fans worldwide. Offered here are his second and third works both signed by the author. 1.) Last Seen Wearing Macmillan, 1976. Dust jacket is in near fine condition, bright, colorful with no issues boasting a superb illustration by John Ireland. The book itself is very clean, no smudges or stains on the light blue fabric boards save for very slight discoloration at top and bottom edges of spine. Pages have general toning due to poor quality of paper used. Colin Dexter has signed his name in blue ball point pen above his name on title page. 2.) The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn Macmillan, 1977. Dust jacket in near fine condition with only a hint of toning at edges. Book itself near fine with pages in no way as toned/discolored as Dexter's first two books. Dexter has inscribed and signed on loose endpaper "Best wishes always, John! And thank you for your support, Colin Dexter". Also on same page book owners signature. Dexter's signed works are very popular with collectors/sellers and these two would make fine additions.
