Homer, Winslow -- ALS Re Sending Art For an Exhibition (1836-1910) American landscape painter and printmaker, preeminent in 19th century American art. Autograph letter signed, one page, 9¾x6¼", n.p. Dec. 30, 1897. To Mr. [Thomas B.] Clarke, an art collector from New York City, letting him know that Homer has asked Mr. Beatley and Badworth & Sons "to forward my picture in time for your exhibit."
