Lot 621

1794. Overton-105. Rarity 5. NGC graded VG-10. CAC. Nice even antique gray and gold toning on both sides. This is a much scarcer die marriage than the commonly seen Overton-101 variety. Liberty's hair curls are well formed and many are still showing good separation despite moderate circulation. There's a few residual adjustment marks mostly on the reverse, where excess silver was filed away at the mint prior to striking this important early silver coin. The surfaces are attractive and this handsome coin will no doubt find many buyers eager to purchase it. Only 23,464 struck. Pop 2; 7 finer at NGC for the variety. Estimated Value $4,000 - UP

Realized $4,560
