1833 N-5 R1 Repunched 8 PCGS graded MS62 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty medium brown and light bluish steel. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent has mint state eye appeal in spite of a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices. The only mark is a small spot of slightly darker reddish brown toning in the field off the end of the nose. LDS. The repunching at ICA is faint, nearly gone, but the repunching at the top of the 8 is still visible. Our grade is AU55. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 6 finer: 4 in 63, 2 in 64. PCGS #37030. Estimated Value $350 - UP
From the Bob Willoughby Collection.
