Lot 411

1820 N-13 R1 Large Date PCGS UNC Detail Altered Surface. Frosty light olive and steel with hints of underlying golden tan and rose faded down from mint color in protected areas. The only mark is a tiny spot of darker chocolate toning (not carbon) between stars 12 & 13. We do not detect any "alterations" to the surfaces of this cent. Nicely struck MDS with a die crack that meanders through the date and stars, the usual Randall Hoard die state for the variety. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36673. Estimated Value $500 - UP
Ex Douglas F. Bird-Bob Willoughby Collection.
