Lot 409

1818 N-10 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty mint red fading to light steel brown with about a third of the planchet showing mellowed mint red, mostly on the obverse. There are numerous tiny puffs of slightly darker brown toning on both sides, the largest single one between stars 1 & 2. The only notable marks are a few microscopic ticks on the cheek, none visible to the unaided eye. M-LDS, the usual Randall Hoard die state for the variety, with a die crack that meanders through the date and stars. A nice date or type coin. Our grade is MS62. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 14, 2 finer in 64. PCGS #36628. Estimated Value $700 - UP
From the Bob Willoughby Collection.
