1806 S-270 R1 NGC graded AU53. Glossy olive brown and chocolate with some lighter brown toning in protected areas on the obverse. The surfaces are smooth and the devices have very light friction on their highpoints. The notable contact marks are two diagonal nicks in the field left of the hair ribbon, a tiny rim bruise right of the Y in LIBERTY, and another rim bruise under the fraction. LDS, Breen state IV early, with obvious swelling through the date and lowest curls plus a rim cud break at the top of the reverse. Our grade is VF35+. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
