1803 S-258 R1 Large Fraction NGC graded AU58. Very attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown and tan in protected areas. Mint frost shows through in the fields and protected areas on both sides. Possibly recolored long ago but the toning looks natural and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. No spots or stains, just a few minor nicks. A dull nick in the dentils before the face and another in the dentils over the left edge of the E in AMERICA can help identify this cent. LDS, Breen state IV, with an arcing die crack and bulge in the field left of the curls. Our grade is EF45+. Estimated Value $1,750 - UP
