1835 N-8 R1 Head of 1836 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous light olive and bluish steel with traces of faded mint red showing in protected areas, particularly on the obverse. No spots or stains, only a few microscopic ticks on the jaw and in the field off the chin. MDS with a die crack from the rim up through the 1 in the date to the bust ending in the hair below star 8. A nice cent. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#4 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #31712. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 1 finer in 64. PCGS #37060.
