1835 N-7 R1 Head of 1836 PCGS graded AU55. Frosty medium steel brown with slightly darker reddish brown toning covering the right side of the obverse. Mint frost covers the protected areas on both sides. There are some tiny ticks scattered over the obverse fields and a spot of extremely fine roughness between the U and the end of the wreath ribbon. E-MDS with fine flowlines in the fields and tiny lumps on the left bottom of the 1 & 8 in the date. There is a clear double profile on the forehead, tip of the nose, lips, and chin. Our grade is EF40+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 6 finer: 1 in 58, 2 in 62, 1 in 63, 1 in 64, 1 in 66. PCGS #37057. Pop 3; 8 graded higher at PCGS for the variety, 7 in MSBN, 1 in MSRB. Estimated Value $200 - UP
