1835 N-2 R3 Head of 1834, Small 8 PCGS graded AU50. Very attractive glossy medium steel brown and chocolate Satiny mint frost covers the protected areas and this cent has great eye appeal for the grade. The only mark is a small wisp of darker olive brown toning at star 3. M-LDS. The repunching inside the lower part of the U in UNITED is very dull but still visible. A minor planchet clip affects the dentils at star 2 and the opposing dentils right of the D in UNITED (as struck). Our grade is VF35. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 6 finer: 1 in 53, 1 in 58, 1 in 63, 2 in 64, 1 in 65. PCGS #37075. Estimated Value $350 - UP
