1834 N-2 R1 Sm 8 Lg Stars Med Ltrs NGC graded MS63 Brown. Frosty tan and light brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The only mark is a tiny spot of darker steel brown toning in the field close to the upper lip. This cent has choice mint state eye appeal but there is a touch of rub on the highest points of the portrait. LDS. The early die lines up from the dentils under the date are gone and there are rather strong lumps on the bottom of the Y in LIBERTY. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Mervis Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. Estimated Value $700 - UP
