1811. Tall 5. BD-1, High Rarity 3. NGC graded MS-64. Boldly struck with fully defined curls cascading down Liberty's neck onto her shoulders. The devices and fields are captivating as there are no deep or detracting handling marks on the surfaces. The color is pleasing coppery gold with strong luster in the fields. This particular coin is one of the finest known of the Tall 5 variety and is currently tied with the best certified. Only 99,581 struck, with about 175 to 250 examples with the Tall 5 estimated to have survived according to PCGS Pop Report. Pop 5; none finer at NGC for the variety.
