Lot 1374

1810. Large date, large 5. BD-4, Rarity 2. PCGS graded MS-63. Well struck by the dies and with light golden toning. Quite lustrous and choice, with vibrant mint color that includes a hint of greenish gold and bright yellow. The surfaces are sweet, with no discernable distractions, and strong visual appeal for an early gold coin. It is hard to imagine how this coin survived all these 210 years in choice condition. Housed in an Old Green Holder. Pop 50; 46 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 8108) Estimated Value $18,000 - 19,000
